edward-and-anastasia-kacerguisOn 29 September, my Mom, Anastasia, entered into the blessed hope of life eternal. Many of her friends here in Troy could not attend the funeral Mass and asked if there could be a Mass celebrated here at Christ Sun of Justice. It was decided that Wednesday, 9 November, would be the ideal day as that would have been the anniversary of Edward and Anastasia Kacerguis’ marriage. They were married in 1940 at St Joseph’s Church in Waterbury, CT.  Dad died on 18 October 1986. I invite you to join me this Wednesday, at 5:15 pm, to pray for both my mom and dad and brother David. Thank you for all the support you have given to me and my brother Peter.

sleepwalksSleepWalks: The Body of Dreams: The recalled collective dreams and strong dreamworld themes shared by the overnight SleepWalks participants are the source material for these one-hour dance performances. The music for these performances also comes from those overnight SleepWalks soundscapes by Lee Pembleton and Andrea Williams. Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company dancers transform themselves into the dreamer bodies as they are immersed in Andrea Williams’ video projection environments. Reality blurs with the dreamworld as the dancers move back and forth between the reality of sleep and the revelation of our dreams.

Performances will be take place on October 21st and 22nd, 8-9pm, $10, at the Chapel + Cultural Center in Troy, NY.
